Inside Sales Manager

The VELUX Group is currently on an exciting journey with a strong corporate strategy focused on growth. As part of our growth agenda, we have recently established a new commercial division called VELUX Commercial.

VELUX Commercial designs manufactures and markets daylight solutions for commercial buildings such as offices, schools, healthcare facilities, airports, shopping malls and retail stores, large public buildings, railway stations and industrial buildings.

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Manager based in Den Bosch, The Netherlands to support our VELUX Commercial sales team to help achieve the plans and ambitions set for growth.

Your challenges

Reporting to the VELUX Commercial Sales Director for Benelux, you will be responsible for managing and developing our internal sales team consisting of 5 employees to drive sales, build project pipeline and build relationships with our customers.

Through regular coaching, you will ensure the internal sales team focuses on quality of interaction and doing the right task at the right time. You will encourage accurate identification of waste in processes from a customer, team and overall business perspective, which will in turn create capacity to work on value-added activities across VELUX Commercial sales in The Netherlands.

Furthermore, you will also form part of the Export team based in Den Bosch, where you will perform hands-on operational back office tasks.

As part of a global organisation you can expect to travel approx. 30 days annually – both in The Netherlands and internationally (mostly Europe).

Your qualifications

You have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or management and some years’ experience managing people.

You have a hands-on and can-do approach to business, you can switch tasks with short notice and you can keep a cool head in the process. You love taking on new tasks and you are comfortable dealing with complex tasks with high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity.

You are a team player, an excellent communicator and you collaborate easily with people from different backgrounds - both internally and externally.

We assume that you can communicate fluently in Dutch and have strong English and German language skills (both spoken and in writing).
